Baton Rouge Food Tours

What better time to think of food than at Thanksgiving? The original Thanksgiving was a feast provided by Plymouth settlers to give thanks for their first bountiful harvest. Today it has become a day for gathering with family and friends to give thanks and, as did the settlers, enjoy a feast together. Food is used in celebrations, social gatherings, romantic get-togethers, and more. Dr. Hutto and our trusty staff enjoy encouraging our patients to explore, experience, and enjoy the community and today we are recommending partaking in a Baton Rouge food tour.

About C'est Si Bon Food Tours

The C'est Si Bon Food Tour is a guided, walking tour that takes place in Downtown Baton Rouge.  While some of Baton Rouge's best restaurants and food are the highlight, the tour also includes interesting and/or entertaining historical, cultural, and architectural details.  Come visit various eateries ranging from upscale restaurants to family owned cafes.  Your taste buds will be enamored by the flavor of traditional Cajun favorites as well as the unique twists our chefs masterfully create.  After sampling a traditional Po-boy, savory Shrimp and Grits, warm Beignets, and much more, you will shout, "Cest Si Bon!"

Run by a Louisiana native with a life-long experience of Southern Louisiana cuisine and culture, both out of town visitors and residents will enjoy this experience. This 2.5-hour, leisurely paced walk is pleasurable for all fitness levels. Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended. This experience is sure to fill up both your belly and your brain!
